How data is stored and shared
BOTD uses third-party infrastructure including Firebase and PayPal to operate the site. BOTD may also use email delivery providers to send confirmations and administrative notices.
BOTD does not sell visitor data. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the website and communicate with participants, or when disclosure is required by law.
Youth and oral history submissions
BOTD programming includes youth-oriented tours. Parents, guardians, educators, and group organizers should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information for minors through the website.
If you submit oral histories, photographs, or documents, BOTD may contact you to confirm permission, authorship, and any reuse restrictions before using those materials in tours, public history work, or future exhibits.
